Riding a BART Tunnel

Sherwood be fun to do this. From an article about the "birth of BART"
Also worth contemplating is this unveiling of a BART train in 1965. Makes me feel ill that we haven't progressed since then. High speed Rail 2015!

Ramona for Bike Drawings

look ma, no handsEver since I found the blog, Bike Drawings a few weeks ago, I've been excited about sending in a submission. I've been doodling bikes for years, amongst other things like anthropomorphic animals. So rather than sketch up something new, I started thumbing through some old notebooks and voila, Look Ma No Hands. My art is usually a bit dark and cynical, can you tell? So here's your wheelright preview, let's see if this ends up on the site. :)

Riding Indoors

This lovely photo is of Jean Claude Brialy and Anna Karina, in Paris of course, from the site Rides A Bike- photos of famous people on bikes. I love this shot in all its frenchness and I love the idea of riding indoors, in open spaces with wood floors. My apartment is 24 feet long and I can ride a revolution or so in a straight line before I run out of space. What if I had an old converted warehouse type space where I could ride in circles and figures eights? Parties would certainly be more fun.
